Got questions? We’ve got answers. From sizing and shipping to keeping those neons ridiculously bright, here’s everything you need to know about your Neon Nippers.

WHY NEON?
Because kids are fast. Like, look-away-for-two-seconds-and-they’re-halfway-across-the-pool fast.
Neon colours are designed to stand out against the water, making your little nipper easier to spot at the pool, beach or lake.
We created Neon Nippers to combine swimwear kids love wearing with bright, high-visibility colours parents love seeing.

DOES NEON SWIMWEAR MAKE MY CHILD SAFER IN THE WATER?
Bright, high-visibility swimwear can make children easier to see in and around the water, but it should never replace active adult supervision or appropriate water-safety measures.
Think of Neon Nippers as an extra set of bright colours in your water-safety toolkit — not a substitute for watching your child.

ARE SOME COLOURS EASIER TO SEE IN WATER THAN OTHERS?
Yes. Colour can look dramatically different once it’s underwater, and visibility can also change depending on water depth, clarity, lighting and the surrounding environment.
That’s exactly why Neon Nippers is all about BRIGHT.
Our swimwear uses bold neon colours chosen to help little swimmers stand out rather than blend into the water around them.

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I ORDER?
Check out our Size Guide before ordering for measurements and sizing information.
Swimwear should fit comfortably and securely without being overly tight. If your little nipper is between sizes, check the individual product measurements before deciding which way to go.
And yes, we know kids have an incredible ability to grow approximately three sizes overnight.

IS NEON NIPPERS SWIMWEAR UPF 50+?
Our swimwear is designed with sun protection in mind. 
Remember that swimwear only protects the skin it covers, so always team it with sunscreen, a hat, shade and your usual sun-smart routine.

IS YOUR SWIMWEAR CHLORINE RESISTANT?
Our swimwear is made for plenty of splashing, swimming and poolside chaos.
To help keep your Neon Nippers looking their brightest, always rinse them thoroughly in fresh water after swimming — particularly after being in chlorinated or salt water.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY NEON NIPPERS?
Neon likes a little TLC.
After swimming, rinse your togs in cool fresh water as soon as you can.
Wash according to the care label using a mild detergent, and dry them in the shade. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, tumble drying, ironing and leaving wet swimwear screwed up in the bottom of a swim bag for three days.
HOT TIP: Neon colours can fade faster when exposed to harsh chemicals, heat and prolonged direct sunlight, so a little care goes a long way.

WILL THE NEON COLOURS FADE?
Like all brightly coloured swimwear, some fading can naturally occur over time — especially with repeated exposure to chlorine, salt water, sunscreen and sunshine.
Rinsing your Neon Nippers after every swim and following the care instructions will help keep those colours bright for as long as possible.

WHAT IS NEON NIPPERS SWIMWEAR MADE FROM?
Our swimwear is made from 82% nylon, 18% spandex,, selected for stretch, comfort and durability.

WHERE IS NEON NIPPERS DESIGNED?
Right here in New Zealand.
Neon Nippers was created with Kiwi kids and water-loving family adventures  in mind — beaches, pools, lakes, boats, sprinklers and everything in between.

WHERE IS YOUR SWIMWEAR MADE?
Our Neon Nippers pieces are designed in New Zealand and manufactured by our carefully selected production partners in China. We work with our suppliers to ensure our products meet our quality and manufacturing requirements.

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?
We aim to get your Neon Nippers packed up and heading your way as quickly as possible.
Orders are generally dispatched within 3-5 business days.
New Zealand delivery usually takes approximately 3-5 days after dispatch. We also ship internationally.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order.

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
If your order hasn’t been packed or shipped yet, we’ll do our best to help.
Contact us as quickly as possible with your order number and what you’d like changed.
Once your Neon Nippers are already making their way to you, unfortunately we may not be able to make changes.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY?
We want you to love your Neon Nippers.  However, for hygiene reasons, swimwear must be unworn, unwashed and returned with all original tags and hygiene protection intact.
​
WHAT IF MY ITEM IS FAULTY?
That’s definitely not how we want your Neon Nippers adventure to begin.
Please contact us with your order number, a description of the problem and a couple of photos showing the fault.
We’ll get onto it as quickly as possible and work with you to make it right.

CAN I REMOVE SAND FROM MY SWIMWEAR?
Ahhh, sand. Somehow it gets everywhere.
Start by rinsing the swimwear thoroughly in cool fresh water. Once dry, turn it inside out and gently shake or stretch the fabric to help loosen any trapped grains.
Avoid aggressively rubbing or picking at the fabric, as this can damage the fibres.
